BLOGS AND FORUN BEHAVIOUR
Perhaps you have been spending some time on the Internet and found a number of blogs or internet forums that you have enjoyed out there? Perhaps you may have also noted the interesting behavior that transpires and you think to yourself this is odd? But is it really?
If your goal is to learn how blog or forum behavior works or wish to psycho-analyze the process it is best to simply start and consider where all the animosity is coming from these days. Some angry people who go on Blogs or Forums believe that they are of no value since there is no commitment there?
Of course this is a choice of those participating, if one gives no commitment, they certainly should not expect any. Others complain there is too much fighting, yet if one jabs they should probably expect a right hook, a few combinations or even a KO and thus one might wish to defend themselves as the other goes in for the intellectual kill. But remember one made choice and that is what life is all about isn't it?
Beware of anger and bitter people on the Internet who will go out of their way to attack you. One thing you can do is be sure to keep your own behavior in check as well, as others incite negative comments against you for no apparent reason, perhaps these poor souls are merely upset at the world and you ended up in the way?
For the beginner learning about Online Forum or Blog behavior it can be an aggravating process, but hang in there you will do fine.

POSTING A RELAVANT ARTICLES
Often we see folks posting in online forums or on Blogs and sometimes it goes on for some 1,000 words, now in most cases this is over-stepping the bounds of online forum etiquette because people do not wish to read that much. Unless of course the comments are very viable and worthy and on topic and those in the online forum are dedicated to the dialogue, then it makes a lot of sense.
Moderators must watch when folks start writing too much and get too far off topic because it can be disruptive and the more that is written the more chances of hurt feelings, psychological attacks and the disrespected will seek revenge in reciprocal responses and then well all communication can break down. Indeed the debate against brevity is that the dialogues become superficial in nature and that is the opposite side of the spectrum. One online forum participant states:
Brief to me means superficial. I dance the tango! Not the fox trot!
Such a comment is a real problem for a moderator of an online forum or Blog. This of course is pure arrogance and ego talking and the poster is saying in reality:
I have a "Right" to say what I want and use as many words as I want, because my words are important and I want to be heard.
Never mind the fact that if you need that much space you most likely need to go back and take English Writing Course 101 if you are unable to clear a single thought within 4 paragraphs or less. If you are involved in online forum moderation, these are things you will have to deal with and I wish you good luck indeed.
FORUM TRAFFIC
Online forums are, in essence, virtual meeting places for people from all walks of life and with every imaginable interest. In most cases, forums are dedicated to a particular subject or range of subjects – some can be very specialized, focusing for example on the craft of scrapbooking (as opposed to just being a “crafting” forum). Because of this specialization, savvy marketers have turned an attentive eye toward the forums for promoting their businesses, which has given birth to what is now known as forum marketing.
A forum is basically a website on which people post information and inquiries on a given topic. Other visitors to the site can then read these postings and add their own two cents’ worth. It is a very effective way to exchange information on in a open forum – hence the name! The benefit of this for marketing your business is not difficult to see. If you choose your forum (or forums) wisely, you can get the word out about your business and drive traffic to your site!
Although some forums will have rules against posting things like links or advertising, in many cases these practices are allowed. The benefit of that is (especially in a very focused forum), is that if you do your homework, you can provide information about you business to an audience that is clearly already interested in your industry. That’s half the work done for you. You don’t have to seek out potentially interested parties, nor do you have to wait for them to find you. You essentially have an interested, captive audience. All you have to do then is direct them to your site and hope that your sales pitch is effective!

FORUM MARKETING
Is there a way to get your online forum cooking by writing articles and submitting them to the most powerful online article submission sites? Yes, indeed there is and it works well for me and someone finally noticed from one of my forums and asked;
“I noticed you have posted some comments to other boards and directed them back to Invision Online Forum board.”
So, I wrote him back a little note; “Rarely, but I have taken these conversations and put them into 50 bite size articles to generate interest in the subject to recruit like minded individuals interested in any of the various components of this subject. Each expert in a field may know something that is worthy or clue to the whole. You do not need to know everything to beat the game. Only enough to ask the questions and smart enough to find the answers or find people who either already know the answers or are willing to look themselves.”
You see the topic we were discussing crosses many cutting edge and leading sciences which are important to industries of aerospace, agriculture, space, military, transportation, energy transfer, gravity wave interference, national security, etc. and we are asking questions that are indeed bleeding edge science now. It is therefore worthy to pursue of course.
I use this as a case study for you if you run an online forum and you want more participation. So consider this strategy for yourself and just see if you do not supercharge your online forum as well. Think on this in 2006.

Am trying to set up a blog site where u can get to download or request for a particular book (if i don't have it in my archives then you will just give me like 3days to get it for u). All this for free.
